Where is Upload taking place?
Upload is taking place at the University College Dublin on 13th & 14th October 2018
What times does the event run?
The event runs from 10am to 5pm on the 13th and 14th of October 2018.
Is there car parking available?
Yes there is car parking available.
Is there free public wifi?
Yes there is free wifi available for attendees.
What can I expect when I attend the event?
Visitors to Upload can expect to experience a wide range of content between the various zones, such as fashions shows, gaming battles, cooking demos, make up masterclasses, virtual reality, creator panels, Q&A’s, meet and greets, discussion panels, educational talks and pop up shops.
What time should I arrive?
Access to the event is available throughout the day. If you have a meet and greet ticket, please make sure to arrive in a timely fashion to ensure your ticket can be utilised.
Will I have to queue?
Queuing for entry to the venue is a possibility. Designated queues will be in effect for the meet and greet areas, so it is advisable to expect delays. Certain meet and greets will require a meet and greet ticket. To view ticketing options click here.
If I have a meet and greet ticket is my place guaranteed?
Meet and greet is under strict time control. If you have purchased a meet and greet ticket, please ensure you abide by the terms of your time slot. Entry to the queue will be cut off at the relevant times and you will be informed of these times upon purchase of the ticket. We cannot guarantee entry to the meet and greet queue after these times, so please arrive on time to guarantee entry. Meet and greet tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable should you miss your time slot.
What ages can attend?
Upload prides itself on being an inclusive event and we welcome people of all ages. Anyone under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.
I am only chaperoning do I need to buy a ticket?
Yes, entry to the event will only be permitted to ticket holders.
I have an access requirement, who should I get in touch with to make sure my needs are met?
If you have specific requirements, we want to make sure you are welcomed accordingly to the event. Please email upload@obem.ie if you have any requests and we will ensure the necessary provisions are in place.
Will there be food and beverages available?
Yes, there will be food and beverages available to purchase within the venue.
Will there be a cloakroom?
Yes, a cloakroom will be available for visitors at a rate of €2 per item per day. Upload and the organisers do not take responsibility for items left around the venue if not checked into the designated cloakroom.
